In our company, we have a report called “Personal Report’ which our director and all staff members use daily.
But, yesterday I noticed that, as time passes, many staff members stop filling it in.
As it happens, I keep sending them reminders that they have to do it regularly if you decide it.
This is ridiculous and self-righteous.
I think the situation is pathetic, because I have to lecture them about their responsibility which they are supposed to be aware of anyway as company employees.
This means they don’t follow up on what they had decided to do, even though this was a condition of their employment.
The other day, to such members, I was such a declaration.
Eventually, I told these staff members.
“I will change my way of thinking and listen to your personal reports although this may take a long time.”
As for the declaration, it doesn’t matter how old I am ore what position I have,
the world that I see from my point of view only is bound to be incomplete because it is impossible to know the whole world based only on what I have seen.
So I commit to seeing the world from points of view of those around me.
Again I want to live in this world obediently, humbly and sincerely.
